 SEI's Midspan injectors are for VoIP, Wireless Access Points, and other PoE applications. and are fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard. With a midspan there is no need to replace your existing switch to realize the advantages of PoE.
Midspans eliminates multiple cables to networking devices by injecting
power on the Ethernet cable and provide centralized power to all
connected devices. SEI Midspans also provide
an optional SNMP and web interface to manage power allocation.
