Founded in 1977, SEI is headquartered in Frederick,
Maryland. We manufacture and service critical power systems and customer
premises power equipment (CPE) for industrial users, IT, telephone Service
Providers, the military, and enterprise class end users. We are located in a
20,000 square ft modern manufacturing facility located 30 miles north of the
Washington DC metro area. We have shipped 20,000 DC critical power systems to
over 1000 customers in our thirty plus years as business enterprise. Engineered
in Frederick, SEI products are made in the USA.

Our Product Division builds DC uninterruptible power products (UPS) that provide
48 Vdc and 24 Vdc battery backed-up power with output current ranging from 2.5
to 13.5 Amps. These units feature customer-selected output distribution modules
and options to facilitate use in a wide variety of applications. Battery backup
options provide holdover time from 20 minutes to 8 hours.

SEI also builds uninterruptible DC powering systems for ISDN telephone networks
as well as Network Termination Units (NT1's). These products are focused on
providing the power for Digital Centrex telephones, which employ ISDN as its
protocol. SEI is the world leader in supplying these ISDN powering solutions.

Our Power over the Ethernet (PoE) midspan products provide power for voice and
data traffic on the packet-based data Ethernet. Telephones and other end user
devices connected to a local area network require power to be delivered on that
LAN. As a participant of the IEEE task force that formulated the 802.3af
standard for Power over Ethernet, SEI has engineered power and battery backup
