Keeping your phones up and running is a given in today’s communication-intensive business environment. Utilizing a wireless network is extremely convenient and cost effective. Security cameras and access control devices now utilize the power of the network for increased control and security. All of these utilize the network to communicate. NONE of these work without power.
UPS Solutions are designed for a certain hold over time based on the devices being backed up. Adding new PoE devices to the backup equation means either degrading the hold over time or replacing the UPS Solution until now.
BACKUP JUICE is SEI’s Integrated UPS that provides instantaneous power from the backup battery during a loss of utility power. This ensures an uninterrupted, high quality power source for your PoE devices without degrading the LAN’s hold over period. Available in a variety of holdover times, the Backup Juice can be sized to fit your specific needs.
Backup Juice is tightly integrated with the Juice Box MX to deliver power directly from its internal battery supply to the PoE devices. Existing UPS Solutions are designed for a given power requirement and a given hold over time. The addition of 24 VoIP phones can reduce a typical switch UPS solution from 30 minutes to to just 5 minutes.
How much hold over do you need? Backup Juice is available in a variety of configurations, including the Slimline (1 hour), Standard (2 hours), both of which are rack mountable. The Expanded Backup Juice Cabinet is available in configurations up to 12 hours hold over time.
