For 24 ports, that equates To 370 total Watts. Competitive products typically provide 200 to 250 Watts total output power. Even so called “HIGH POWER” units with non-standard maximum output power of 39 Watts only offer a total of 200 Watts. If the application is 24 wireless access points, each drawing 14 Watts per port, no other midspan Injector can provide enough power to ALL the devices. There are a few options to meet the requirement. Install multiple 6 or 12 port Units, which consumes valuable rack space, and are much more expensive per port. Install a limited number of units per injector (a 200 Watt unit would only power 14 WAPs). The only viable solution is the JUICE BOX MX.
