DP240e The DP240e is a bulk powering system that provides 48 volt DC power for up to 48 NT1's and 96 ISDN phones. Integrated battery backup insures continuous phone service in the event of local power outages. The system controller protects the batteries from over-discharge via a low voltage disconnect circuit. It performs an automatic battery test and indicates when the battery needs to be replaced. The battery is replaceable without taking the phones out of service. Remote monitoring is provided via a relay contact closure.
Output distribution is provided via two modules ont the side of the unit. Each module contains one 50-pin Amphenol connector and two 6-pin RJ11 connectors. Each output is
indvidually protected from overload via a resettable thermal fuse.
Battery holdover can be extended by adding external BP-8U battery packs or
High Capacity Battery Cabinets. All DP240e units are mountable either on a wall or on 19" racks.
