SEI DC-UPS Systems incorporate technology to ensure the batteries, whether internal or external, are properly charged and maintained. All SEI systems have a charge controller which monitors charge status, performs automated battery tests and provides indicators for the health of the batteries. Typically comprised of four 12 volt, 9amp hour batteries, these battery packs are continuously monitored to ensure critical applications are supported when utility power is lost. SEI’s Power Management Package (PMP) network interface enables remote monitoring and management of the entire system, as well as setting alarms or event parameters, including loss of ac, battery test failure, or charge voltage fault.
Internal Integrated Batteries
All SEI battery packs are designed to be user replaceable and hot-swappable. Batteries are easily replaced without shutting the system down.
External Battery Packs
SEI External battery packs are specifically designed for use with our DC-UPS Systems. These packs are available in a variety of voltages, including 24Vdc and 48Vdc. One or two external battery packs can be added to a DC-UPS System.
- BP-9U or BP-18U – wall or rack mount battery pack with four 12 volt, 9ah batteries
- BP-18U/48SC or BP-36/24SC – 2U rack mount battery pack with eight 12 volt, 9ah batteries
High Capacity Battery Cabinet
For applications requiring significant battery holdover, SEI offers a stand-alone battery cabinet, containing up to four 12 volt, 90Ah batteries. The cabinet is mounted on lockable casters for ease of movement and secure placement.
